Thank you all. My dad was in fact a great man to my family. We will always remember him for all the funny/great stuff that he did for us. I have had many restless nights thinking about my dad and about finding him a cure. I also dreaded the day that I would have to code him. (I work in the communications room at the hospital where my dad past away.) I am glad I did not have to code him, but had the opportunity to tell him to not to worry and that I will be a better person/son/family member in our family, and that I will indeed unite my older brothers with my mom and sisters, to be a better family. This was his biggest and final wish, to have a the family, like it used to be. I am proud to be his son and I will always miss and love him.

That's awesome that you are going to carry out his last wishes like that. 🙂

Hearing stories like this makes me want to treat my parents as best as possible. Who knows how much longer they'll live .. I mean, the way I look at it, I take their existence for granted. You never know what you really have until you're stripped away of it at an unexpected time. 🙁

Stay strong Chrono!

Very true. Now go tell your parents you love them and appreciate all they have done for you.

Man that's rough. Sorry to hear. Remember him and strive to carry on the good things he'd done.

Sorry to hear of that Chrono. I lost my father 12 years ago, and it is a rough road to overcome. Have faith that everyday will get better.

anyway, im sorry about your loss 🙁

and the tides turn...i find myself agreeing with nick! 🙂

OP, i am really sorry about your loss. i have only known a few people that were kinda close to me that died, so i wont lie and say i know exactly how you feel, but it makes me watery in the eyes to even think about it. i hope you keep your head up, but realize that real men cry and its ok to do it whenever the hell you want. if some idiot like fumbduck says cool or laughs at you, lmk and ill beat their ass.

good luck 🙁

I hate hearing the aftermath of a death. It makes me realize that our failures affect people in a great emotional way, and I like to try, and forget that they exist after they are pronounced.

Chrono, I'm sorry for your loss. While I have no idea what you're going through, I know it must be hard. You sound like a wonderful person, and your father sounds like he was a great man.

Best wishes to you and your family,
Brad

Sorry for your loss man. Your description was much too graphic for me.

no offense, but if that is too graphic, you should just stay inside and look at the wall all day. it never ceases to amaze me how some people have their nose tilted up so high they get offended by everything. blood guts and gore dont phase me when i am eating spaghetti, and im not saying everyone should be like that, but simply thinking about blood makes your stomach turn? go outside.
