Hearing stories like this makes me want to treat my parents as best as possible. Who knows how much longer they'll live .. I mean, the way I look at it, I take their existence for granted. You never know what you really have until you're stripped away of it at an unexpected time.

OP, i am really sorry about your loss. i have only known a few people that were kinda close to me that died, so i wont lie and say i know exactly how you feel, but it makes me watery in the eyes to even think about it. i hope you keep your head up, but realize that real men cry and its ok to do it whenever the hell you want. if some idiot like fumbduck says cool or laughs at you, lmk and ill beat their ass.
