I just watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles again for the first time in years. I loved him in the movie where he was private detective, but I don't remember the name.

He was one of the funniest ever. Watch some of his stuff on the SCTV television show if you ever get the chance.
 
That one with the kid from Home Alone, where he makes a giant pancake on the stove and uses a snowshovel to flip it...that was awesome!
