Clinton was a scumbag. You have to go back a little farther to find a great President...

You really have your priorities screwed up. Don't you think Bush has defiled the presidency by lying his way to war, or perhaps all the scandals that have gone on his watch? Don't you think that either 3 possibilities exist either he knowingly lied, gross incompetency, or gross negligence? Either one you pick is tied into the other two in some form or another, so how can you not say he has not defiled the presidency? But ohhh wait lets see now, Bill Clinton got a bj so that makes him a terrible person, but when someone like George W. Bush lies about reasons for going to war, lets just let bygones be bygones, right? Maybe you should take a step back and think about what the mentality is here, when Bill Clinton lied, nobody died, think about that before you call him a scumbag. I personally think he was a very good president and a very charismatic leader unlike the Idiot n' Chief we have now.

well you could have saved your breath because I don't think much of Clinton OR Bush, in terms of great Presidents.

good story though.

since you missed it the first two times I said so: Reagan was the last great President...

No I didn't miss it, I just don't see how you can call Clinton a scumbag and exempt Bush from being called the same thing.

In all fairness, Clinton and W. Bush are not in the same league. Not even in the same game.

Clinton was a scumbag, and he should be in jail righ now.
W. Bush is far worse than just a scumbag--and should be in jail righ now.
By-the-way, Reagan should also have been in jail.

That is the one thing all 3 have in common, they have all commited crimes while in office.

Reagan was the last "great" president?

Two words. Iran. Contra. The lying SOB was selling drugs on U.S. streets to finance his dirty wars. "Great"?

Your idea of greatness needs some work. Talk about defiling the Oval Office.

BTW, I was this on the shelf at the supermarket...

Not to get heavy, but I don't need to read a book to know that Clinton smeared himself pretty well without any help whatsoever. 😉

With the Monica case, sure. He backed himself into a corner but he also had a foaming-at-the-mouth partisan hack spending $70 million investigating him. All the other crap slung at Clinton was all fabricated.

Agreed. Give the dems a majority in both houses of congress and we'll see exactly how bad Bush can be made out to be-- not like he already doesn't have an approval rating of 35%.

Please don't slam Reagans economic policies. You guys all claim how great the economy was under Clinton, but fail to realize that Clinton and Bush Sr. did next to nothing in terms of economic changes compared to Reagan.

Yeah, reagan was only outdone by bush jr, in putting us into deficit for a bloated military, what a hero of economics.

Could reagan even remember the word economics in his second term without a cue card?

Give me a break.

Yeah, those Voodoo Economics did wonders.

The fact of the matter is that Reagan make drastic changes...deep deep tax cuts (he did raise payroll taxes to help with the defecit later on but in no way did that come close to evening them out), and a whole lot of government off the back. Bush Sr. and Clinton barely tampered with the any of the ideas. Clinton punished the rich for making money but he still didn't even come close to undoing what Reagan did and the economy BOOMED in the 90's until it started to slow down in his last year and Bush's first year (though not Bush's first fiscal year).

The economic slowdown in late '99 - 2000 had NOTHING to do with Clinton. NOTHING.

It took Clinton a few years to start undoing the damage Reagan's deficits had done. And it wasn't until Clinton's last couple of years that the fiscal budget was balanced. The last several Republican Presidents have been Borrow and Spend like a drunken sailor.

I agree with you...I think it's because the economy was so well it really had nowhere else to go.

Please show me a example of how dems spend more? This myth has always eluded me.

Seems to me reps always leave a big debt behind.
funny how we all know they are both corrupt.

Let's see your proof reps spend less without all that socialist feeding the poor and social programs that makes conservatives so lean and small government.

Dang I hope hoping for the one that went all the way to the 50's.

Republicans, conserving their own and their corporate buddies pockets right to fill up since after ww2.

Please tell me you're joking. Please for the sake of all that's sane in this world that you're joking. Otherwise, it means you're pretty much the dumbest person on this planet.

Engineer posted one once that went back several Presidencies. Every Republican President (at least back to Nixon) greatly increased the deficit during his term(s).

Thanks for confirming my worst fears that you're the dumbest person on the planet.

congrats.

How smart is it of you to resort to personal insults after you've already been given vacations for such an offense before? Enjoy a month off.

YAYYYY for personal insults! YAYYY!

Look back at the campaigns the parties run, in all fairness the party of personal attacks and insults is the Republican party, and while I don't believe that BlancoNino is the "dumbest person on the planet" he came pretty close.

Just food for thought.
