I miss refreshing the page and having entirely new content.

I hate most of the new members from the last 3-5 years.
 
I miss Fausto and M4H. M4H was the best at using that long, checked-off, grocery list style of reasons why a particular thread was stupid. I also miss Skywalker99 threads about girls when YAGT threads appeared in OT before there was an L&R.

Yeah, I really loved ATOT back in the day. I have not been nearly as active here since P&N was carved out to be a separate forum back in 2002-03 or so. Actually I learned of the 9/11 attacks on ATOT - I was living in Washington state at the time and was reading the forums before work.

EDIT: I also miss the funniest user of all time -though a shortlived account - VladSlayer, and quite possibly the best full-time satirist on any forum, theflyingpig. I still don't get how anyone was ever offended by TFP.

I was never offended by TFP, but I found him painfully unfunny by his 3rd post - His shtick got old instantly. But Dane Cook being one of the most popular comics on the planet shows that being funny isn't actually required for people to rave about how hilarious you are.
 
the TFP was not funny or offensive. he stunk at being a troll too.

There are a bunch i find worse then him

What I found funny was how people responded to him. Like Compddd in the L&R Forum, he posts advice that is the opposite of what someone should do. It's only mildly funny once you see a few of them, but the way people react is hilarious.
 
I miss M4H, Amused, meltdown75, Brutuskend, and Pliablemoose. I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting but those guys come to mind first.
