During lunch, I played CS with my klipsch speakers turned on(1/8 the volume) for the first time. Mexican neighbor downstair counter my noise with their heavy based music so I said fine and quickly turned off my speakers then put on my headphones. Well they didn't turn their musics off but instead raised the volume. :| Finally after 6 hours of none stop mexican music I've had it with them!!!!!! :|:|:|:|:|:|:|:| unplugged my headphones and looped "Krytonite by 3 doors down" on winamp. BLAST AWAY!!!!!!!!! crank up the volume to 1/2 and left the room. 😀 my entire apartment was shaking while playing that song over and over again. Finally after 10 minutes or so I turned off my speakers. Its all nice and quiet now. 😀 Hope it stays this way.

Thats how to handle things. Eventually, things balance themselves out with you beaten bloody in a dark allyway.

J/k. Thats how me and my neighbor get a long. One of us turns on music, the other turns his on and we just keep raising until one of us turns on. Once one of us turns off, the other is off in less then a minute. I usually win cuzz my speakers are against the wall and I turn them against the wall. 😀

One of my roommates did something like this before. He moved in before I moved in and at around 3 or 4 AM, the neighbors were blasting some music. Well, my roommate had these 2 huge 4 feet tall speakers w/ subwoofers and around a $600 subwoofer. He woke up at 8 AM then and blasted his music for about a minute.

We never heard anything from the neighbors again...
 
You've started like 3 threads on your Hispanic neighbors... I think it's time for you to move... cause you know they won't be anytime soon. Didn't mgmt try to kick them by now ?
 
We had some latino neighbors that would play their music till 2-3am. I could hear the words with all their windows and doors closed and the bass rattled my windows. I hated them so much. The cops couldn't do much because they would never answer the door because they couldn't hear them pounding on the door. Their mother finally stopped making payments on the house and the bank foreclosed. The kids lived there for about a month after she moved out. It turned into a party house for the next 2 months. The dog was left in the house for about a month. They would bring it food about once a week and never let it out to piss/crap. And to top it all off before they were gone they decided to vandalize the neigborhood including breaking our picture window and smashing my other neighbors truck windows.

Not suprisingly their house was the only one that was never shoveled in the winter and the lawn was never cut in the summer. People like this make me sick. Thank god someone who givs a sh!t bought the house and has been kicking ass remodeling it.

Nice job. Me and my roommates have done this to my neighbors and are 2 of 2 so far. Hopefully we don't have to do that again.

We all played "2Pac - Still Ballin'" at the same time. When played at full blast, the bass in that song is unbearable.

That would describe my experience with most latino's. Not trying to start a flame war, just callin it like I see it. And in my experience, the goods majority of latino's are fairly well lazy and lack any respect to others. This would also be the reason I hate them so damned much.

I do the exact same sh!t except I live below my noisy neighbors. I set up my Klipsch so that my Subwoofer touches my ceiling. That way I can enjoy my music while annoying my neighbors if they're too loud.

 
man...neighbors who lived above us used to play music super loudly until the late hours...pissed me off...so i went up to them, knocked on the door kinda loudly.....through the peep hole, i can see their lights...and hear some music...after i knocked some more, the music stopped, and the lights went out...

damn bastards...so i wrote a nice complaint letter (..it was in a "nice" tone)...well, that stopped that mess..


now DOWNSTAIRS SMOKING POT GODDAMN IT!!! smell that sh!t every day...followed by some intense gay ass fragrance....

Well, of course! If you spent all day shoveling other people's snow or mowing their lawns, would you really want to keep doing that stuff when you got home after work? :Q😉

The most annyoning song i can think of is Pink Floyd's "bike". i like it but i admit it gets annyoning, expcecially when played loud

It must be a mexican thing... We had a young Mexican couple next door (with a NEW BABY too! sheesh) who couldn't watch a basketball game without the entire sound system at max. Of course, the sub is right against the wall we share. I've called the managers, the other neighbors have called the cops. So they just make sure to do it when the manager's not around. Cops won't do anything. Just tell 'em to turn it down.

Finally, a month before they moved out, a friend brought me his 500w sub to fix (he blew a bunch of diodes somehow). So I fixed it, bolted it to the wall at eye level, and fired it up! Left "Break Stuff" looping while my wife and I took off for the weekend.

There were marks on the locks from someone trying to pick the lock on my door, but they obviously didn't get in since it was still running when I got home a day and a half later. 😀

Then they moved. LoL

The reason I said "it must be a Mexican thing" is because one of my best friends has a serious stereo with twin subs, etc, and he watches movies at horrendous levels. And lives in apartments. I kept asking him why he would do that to his neighbors, and he just says nobody's complained yet. :Q Prolly couldn't hear the mob at the door.... sigh.
