Hey folks..
i just build my first ever dual core system and its working so far so good *knock on wood*
during win xp home installation (OEM) it asked me what the computer name was.
So i put Erik
then after a minute or so, it asked me what I want to name this computer...so I put Erik again.
it told me that the computer name can not be Erik or Administrator or with dashes or letters other than english and all that crap.
So i put Erik Back UP, implying that this account will be for backup purposes should my main one ever go bad.
the problem is that every single software i install, like one that needs to unzip itself before installing, installs itself to Erik Back UP folder.
I went to control panel and then chose Usernames and tried to play around there but no luck..i cant get rid of that name.
it might seem like a minor issue, but it gets annoying manually changing file path to another folder.
is there any way i can re-do the installation?
i am not talking about the actual installation of windows, but rather the blue/white screen that you get after installation and before the final desktop (the one that asks whether you are part of any network or if you want to activate windows etc)
