I made a flash intro...anyway to make it load faster when you veiw it on the web?

That flash intro takes forever to load, i havent actually seen it yet 😱 Is there something im doing wrong or need to do to make it faster? 😕

I don't know if it's not loading or just taking a really long time. What does the flash consist of? I'll try to give some ideas if I can actually see the thing. I'm on a 3Mb cable connection, and waited for a minute. Let me know if anyone else gets to view it.
 
geez! I have a 4mb DSL connection and it's taking 4 minutes. I've given up!

This file looks like it's like 200+MB unless your server is really slow. You might want to shrink all your images and sounds or whatever is in there!
 
It doesn't look like it's actually loading any of the .swf. I used DU Meter to monitor download and it was doing zilch. Use the bandwidth profiler within Flash (CTRL-ENTER for test mode) and you can tell what it's doing.

EDIT>> Actually, seeing that your source points to ../intro.swf, I'm not sure it's finding it at all. Make sure you have the path correct. Why are you going back a directory - isn't cpx.cc already the root ? (cpx.cc/intro.swf didn't work either... where is intro.swf in relation to root?)
