I love Verizon!

Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess is the greatest thing EVER!

$60 a month for cable modem speeds anywhere there's a Verizon tower.

It's a miracle.

GSM and Roadrunner can DIAF!

I see no indication of a cap in my materials.

I'll try to download nonsense totalling over 5GB and take a screen shot just to see.

GSM? Having the same cell standard as Uganda does not appeal to me. 😉

No GSM provider could provide me with this kinda of intraweb powar!

Hence my abandoning T-Mobile....

Oh, there it is in that link.

I'm not particularly concerned though.

I don't live in an area where there's tons of users of the service so I don't expect Verizon to have to throttle people to maintain overall speed across the network.

agreed...they don't cap your ass and I've gotten 1.5Mbps consistently with them😀

LTE will definitely be interesting though...

If usage exceeds 5 GB per line during any billing period, we reserve the right to reduce throughput speeds of any application that would otherwise exceed such speed to a maximum of approximately 200 Kbps.

Unless network traffic is high why would they bother capping me no matter how much I use?

Besides, I get better coverage with Verizon than with I would with Sprint.

lol...bandwidth isn't free....

and nothing comes free with Verizon...

I LOL at your misfortune. I pay $20/month with AT&T and tether my BlackJack like nobody's business. IIRC, my bandwidth usage on the last bill was like 3 GB or something, no caps yet *knock on wood*.

Don't mean to bump and old thread, but it looks like i've been throttled. I'm getting < than 100 kb/sec and I haven't even gone over the 5 gig limit. :|

My love for Verizon is gone. They were a cruel, abusive lover.

Having been capped I plan to soon call whatever number reaches the Verizon skyscraper and raise hell until they cancel without early termination.

Should they fail to comply I will spend $25 for a small claims filing fee and they will spend hundreds responding.

Well, I just hooked my xv6700 up to my laptop(was sharing the xv6700 connection from a desktop via ics). Running a speedtest i'm up to 1.4 mb/sec again. Must have been a temporary throttle. I guess I need to be a little more careful with what I'm downloading.
