Come on guys, What makes you think that it wouldn't be good enough? It's only a notch or 2 below the best hardware you can buy right now. A new one pops up every day or two. Or are these posts more about bragging?

And, to answer your question its because people love the Doom legacy, and will spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade their computers just to play Doom 3. Either because we just can, or we love it that much. The graphics display offered in Doom 3 is far ahead of its time, and its just that powerful. It did after all take half a decade to make the game.
