I love the TGV (French Trains)

I've always liked riding trains, and a few years back when I saw a show on the Discovery Channel about train speed records, I took a liking to the TGV.

When I went to Europe with my girlfriend a years ago, I made it a point to ride on one of the fastest TGV lines, around 187 mph.

Anyway, I saw that the French were looking to beat their old record of 320 mph set in 1990. Today they set a new record, 357 mph.

I just did a search, too, before posting.

Edit: My post at least contains some real content. I linked to their website and a good video. The videos on CNN are horrible as they're grainy and for some reason use the incorrect aspect ratio (trying to make a widescreen 16:9 video from 4:3 source)
