Poured myself a glass of scotch tonight for the first time in a while. My mouth started watering as i poured it. 😀

mmmmm The Macallan - 12 year.
 
That's some good scotch. I've had the Macallan 12, Glenlivet 12, Glenfiddich 12, Glenfiddich 18 (I believe), and some other brand I can't remember. I think my favorite would be the 18, followed by the Macallan 12. I also bought some Drambuie and made a rusty nail, some mighty tasty stuff.

Have you had the Macallan 18? That and the 25...are...like heaven.

I've had fiddich and livet 12s. I prefer the Macallan over those. Haven't had the 18 though. I haven't had Drambuie in a LONG time...long enough that i don't even recall what it tastes like. lol.
 
Took a glance at the thread title and figured that this thread would turn into a massive anchorman quote fest. Seems I wasn't too far off.

Drambuie is is a honey flavored scotch whisky liqeur, and it's 80 proof. A rusty nail is scotch and drambuie, and it adds a little sweetness to the drink. Here's the recipe, I didn't use the lemon peel though..

I know how to make a rusty nail...bartending school. LOL...what a waste of money that turned out to be...but at least i knew how to make a lot of drinks while in college. 😛
 
oh my, I want to say 90% of the ppl out there would consider Scotch an acquired taste, so not many ppl would love it at first sip. well, :thumbsup: to you.
