I Love Sarah Brightman!

but its mostly bad pop music, her voice is a little overrated. she's no eva cassidy, diana krall or norah jones.

i forgot to include her🙂 well i wasn't about to list that many, but yes, sarah mclachlans got a beautiful vioce that simply shames sarah brightmans. brightman was a broadway singer, and sounds like it. probably ok on stage, but not all that special in recordings. brightmans like sting right now, churning out tons of generic cr@p.

I really enjoyed Eden a lot, the one after that (can't remember the title, had the Scarbourough Faire cover) wasn't too great. I personally think that she is the greatest female vocalists currently, hell probably ever. She is quite a bit older now than back when she did Phantom and singing on Broadway/West End over the course of many years has gotta take a toll on your voice. It basically killed Michael Crawford's voice as well.

She does have a very beautiful voice. Does a really good rendition of "A Whiter Shade of Pale"
 
Why does everyone have to be best to be entertaining?

Brightman is good....so far anyone I like listen to her stuff (even rockers) have likes some of it enough to get the cd or download it.
 
hmm..i like her songs...esp. that eden song w/ the opera dudes singing as backup....

yes i agree w/ alkemyst....yeah she may not be the best..but don't deny that she doesn't have talent...
