You must be 4ft 5 or something, because virtually all OEM xenons have automatic levelers (mine included)

If you can't beat them, you're not swinging the bat hard enough.

in terms of glare, it is
HID kits in reflector housing > halogen in reflector housing > HID kits in projector housing > stock OEM HIDs in proper projector housing > halogen in projector housing.

All cars with stock HIDs come in projector housing. Beacuse of the cutoff inside the projector, HIDs have less glare than 99% of halogens in reflector housing (which throws a lot more light upward than any projector.) Unless ofcourse the HIDs are aimed improperly and the cutoff is above oncoming traffic's eye level.

Wow, that's a huge amount of back-scatter. Really quite bad.

Of course, that's the blue componant of the HID back-scattering, at least true HID lights on your car have output throughout the spectrum and do have some light that gets through unlike the blue fake HID bulbs that have all of their light thrown back by the fog because they only put out at the blue end of the spectrum.

In any case, you'd be better off with yellow lenses in fog. Yellow/orange light doesn't scatter like blue does.
