i ordered a PSU from newegg last thursday (4/11). they have not yet sent it out, so they are upgrading me to free overnight shipping and giving me a $25 gift certificate.
if anyone else has had a big delay, CALL THEM. after i called them yesterday (11/11) morning, the CS guy said that he would call the warehouse and upgrade me to free overnight shipping. this morning (12/11), they actually CALLED ME and said that they would include the gift certificate as well.
of course, it is still on step 2 of 5 🙁
 
i ordered a few things from them last week, and my stuff arrived before they upated their page. And I live across country.
 
I ordered some things from them on 11/3, and called them on Wednesday about it, since only half of the order shipped. They just gave me free overnight, not the $25 GC. 🙁

This whole problem in their NJ plant is really screwing them up. I hope they get it worked out, soon.
 
I ordered a hard drive from them on the 2nd, it got back ordered and finally shipped yesterday. The upgraded me to overnight shipping without me even asking, which, I thought was mighty nice of them.
 
I've ordered from them almost a dozen times including some sizeable orders. It's always at step 4 of 5 by the end of the same day.
 
I ordered a firewire card from them Wednesday morning, it arrived today. It was early as well. FedEx's tracking number had it scheduled for delivery Monday. No complaints. 🙂
 
newegg is awesome. last time i ordered 2400mobiles (their site said the wrong speed by 133mhz), they took them back, paid shipping both ways, and then we paid an extra 20 bux or so to get 2600 mobiles (my bro and i each ordered one). other times we've ordered, we've had no problem and great prices. the new ones oc'd way more too 😀

Wow, that's awesome :thumbsup:. I think they had a warehouse flood of some sort that's causing delays, but that's great that they're trying to make everyone happy. I love Newegg, their prices could get a good deal higher and I would still use them.

I got a message on the answering machine this morning stating the same thing (sorry for the delay, overnight shipping, free $25 gift certificate) I was surprised, as I haven't even contacted them about the order I had placed monday that still reimains on step 2.

Edit: Newegg just called again (for whatever reason), this time another rep - she mentioned Warehouse #7 has been having technical difficulties, which is the cause of the delays.
 
I ordered an NV5 Silencer over the weekend and got it Wednesday (shipped from NJ) when FedEx's tracking page said the target delivery date was Thursday. I was kinda worried that it might get delayed but everything worked like clockwork.
