Major reason why I cant seem to sell my darn brand new book I decided I didn't want!

And I cannot stand staring at a screen for reading a book, rather sit on a couch or easy chair.

Book piracy

LoL

Do you know anything about Project Gutenberg?

Nope. But I know I don't like not being able to sell my darn book because everything and their mother shares ebooks.

I think I remembered Gophering for gutenberg texts..

I've read some on my Palm, and with autoscrolling I can read much faster. :) The only problem is that it gives me a headache..

I like Many books b/c they take the gutenberg texts and put them into a bunch of different formats to use instead of just ol txt

Hah, I never use autoscroll on my palm b/c of eye strain :D

in the Gutenberg FAQ there's a couple sites listed that offer different formats

I think sitting at a computer and reading a book is about as boring as an activity can get. Who is with me on that one?

btw, im not against reading, just get away from the technology, you know? smell the pages, flip the book. not a damn PDF

I don't read eBooks. It's impossible. One thing on my taskbar flashes and BANGGGGGGGGGGGGG I'm out.

I'm with you, us3. The only way I could ever read an eBook is if my internet connection died off and I have nothing else to do but work with offline files. :D

I don't like reading on a monitor, but I prefer being able to take the texts of several books with me in my slim and lightweight palm. Long flights, commutes, random reading waiting for something/1 etc

Yeah I found it hard to read books on the computer, but with a handheld I've rediscovered some of its merits..especially when classes get too boring. :D
