I love craigslist and people needing money-Updated with pics and specs!

I have been looking for a laptop for my kid, this is overkill but couldn't pass it up. I ended up getting a nice month old Acer off craigslist from a guy needing money. It has a 17" led screen, Windows 7, 4 gigs ram, intel dual core cpu for 285, he was asking 450.

Stolen property?

Could just be a person hard up for money, you'd be surprised what a dude who owns the courts money will do. Lesse if I don't pay them within the next 2 days I'm going to jail/prison for violating my parole. I got some $600 studio monitors that looks brand new, with the receipt + extended warranty for $150. He needed the money that day to avoid going to jail. He tried original to sell me a single one for $150, which would have been a good deal but I told him I was looking for a pair. He never said how much the ticket was, but I'm assuming it was $150 lol.

I have some energy bracelets to sell. I need some cash for rent, I'll sell 2 of them for $15.

I tend to find the opposite true on craigslist. Most of the computer listings in my area are P4 laptops and the owners asking $500 for them.

That is the norm, but if you're fast enough (or on there at the right time) you can score some pretty good stuff.
I bought a 6 month old Dell laptop that looked brand new (still had plastic over some parts) for $200.
Turns out the guy bought it for his father who passed away shortly after he bought it for him.
He didn't even wipe it, it still had all his dads stuff on it.
His wife said he didn't want to touch it. 🙁
I put the pics and docs on a DVD and mailed it to them.
