Whenever I help my mom with something trivial that has gone wrong I fix it and she often says "How do you know all this?"

Because I freaking taught myself and when something goes wrong I find a way to fix it. And now a days you can Google everything. Some people just don't care to learn or care to help themselves.

It boils down to "an technology sufficiently advanced enough is indistinguishable from magic". We do magic to most of the population. And considering how many folks I know that go to DragonCon, I am not sure I can dispute them.

My favorite is our "Administrative Assistant" who has a BS in IS Administration. She asked where the best place is to get more "memory" for her friends computer since he is running out of space to put his music. :sigh;

To be fair, she's a pretty cool person aside from her Bull Shit BS.

How is that possible? Where did she go to school?

LOL has turned from "Laugh out loud" to "I don't know what to say".
