So this morning I responded to a help request concerning a computer with a digital camera attached, used for making employee ID cards. The camera wouldn't react to any buttons or other attempts of use, and I found that the batteries were dead and one was severely corroded. After removing them I still couldn't get it to work on A/C power, so we gave up and decided to invest in a new one.

About 45 minutes ago I got an email saying somebody got the camera working again, and could I please come up again to re-assess its workingness. So I did, and found it was working just fine on A/C power without batteries at all. In fact we even took a test picture, which another department member made into an ID card for me:

3 atoters walk into a thread. 1 of them says "I love coworkers with a sense of humor. blah blah blah, yackity yack don't smoke crack. Something about a digicam not working and then it turns out it worked. HAHAHA isn't that hilarious?"

The other 2 just sit and stare in bewilderment.

haha, ok now I get it. He's supposed to be the technical expert, but some random office drones fixed what he couldn't. OP, you must have just forgotten the punchline... did you get transferred to custodial or what? LOL
