the last episode of cowboy bebop ends with incredible violence with this soothing, pretty piece for female choir and piano. the music is seemingly out of place, but is incredibly fitting. man, cowboy bebop was incredible.
well face off's scene was more peaceful serene music then classical, it was the over the rainbow song from wizard of oz right? i love the contrast though.
and bebop is jazz its sweet, that ono(i forget the composers full name) is awesome, she also did macross plus.
<< I cant believe no one said Apocalypse Now. That has to be the best scene ever when the Attack Helicopters are coming in blaring Wagner's Flight of the Valkyries. It is so awsome! >>
ever see that weird x-files where these mutated brothers were driving around in a old card savageley beating people to death in their own homes. The whole time when their beating some old soothing cher song is playing in the background. It made for a sick atmosphere
*sigh* I miss those good ole xfiles.
Shit. This reminds me. Remember in the beginning of the movie when Faye was in her jet? She was listening to the radio on the way to that gas guy and this song comes on that she settles on. I've looked all over. What song is that?!
