What's the best canned clam chowder? Campbell's Chunky?

I don't know about the best, but I've always liked progresso.
Ewww, way too watery.

Yep its on the thinner side but fresher tasting imo than some of the artificially pasty chowders.

I like it thicker too but not at the expense of quality. Nothing against Chunky...its just not as good imo.

edit: btw, some of the best NE style restaurant chowders are on the thinner side as well...thickening it is easy, but making it fresh tasting is much harder to do. Sometimes restaurants make it thicker in the summer, and thinner in the winter.

campbell's chunky just plain sucks (never had progresso)

big chunks of potato != clam chowder

it would be alright if they cut them down to good size and cooked it more but as it is now it just plain sucks
