Try this on for size. Back when I was in high school, I worked part time in the town grocery store, as a stocker/bagger.

They piped the music into the store's speakers via an 8-track player. Each 8-track tape would last ~4 hours.

We had exactly ONE 8-track tape of Christmas music, and they played it from the day after Thanksgiving, until Christmas Eve (store was closed Christmas day). So if you worked an eight hour shift, you got to hear it twice!

People used to laugh at us, when we would subconsciously start humming or whistling the next tune, seconds before it started playing over the loud speakers!! o_O

84 days left till Christmas, it's coming soon, time to start adding random Christmas music in my playlist. :D

I actually bought new Christmas lights today, will install them tomorrow if it's nice out. I always like to do it before the snow comes. I'm sure the stores will start decorating soon. Usually they start a week or so before Halloween. I always find it amusing to see Santa statues and nativity sets mixed with bats and skulls with creepy music playing.

i love Christmas music too! i usually start listening to it from Thanksgiving on. :)
Yep. Christmas music is seasonal music best listened to during the season for which it was composed. I listen to autumnal music this time of year.
