Someone needs to ask him which programmes he would like to see cut, and what kind of tax increases he would be happy with.

Doesn't matter to him obviously, he just wants them to balance the budget. He doesn't care how, just get it the fuck done and we'll deal with the rest afterwards. To much over thinking when we need less and to little when we need more. The story of American Legislation.

Too many politicians promising to do things to get elected, and then doing at least some of the things they promised to do. That doesn't sound so bad on paper, but all of those things cost money. The cumulative effect of decades worth of politicians trying to win votes is a huge government that is collapsing under it's own weight. How could it be any other way though? No one would vote for someone who claimed he couldn't do shit because the government can't afford it.
