They're just pissed they didn't knock off Auntie Eileen last year. If they did, then this wouldn't have happened.![]()

didnt look like her family gave two shits about her, till they found out she had $300k in savings.
LOL. As if any deity capable of creating the universe would be so easily tricked. "Oh, so you did part with all of your excessive riches by donating to charity! You're just in time!"

I didn't get that from the story. They didn't even seem to mind that she donated the bulk of her estate to the church...until they found out which church and what that church stood for.
I thought that this part sort of implied that her family really wasn't there for her. if they had more of a role in her life, she probably would have given at least some more money to them, no?Schmitt had lived a tough life, struggling with alcoholism and losing her two children to drug addictions before dying alone at 78 on May 2, 2010 in her small home in Queens, New York.
damn fear mongering makes for a nice cash cow!
Agree. The money aren't theirs to begin with. They should be grateful that they each got $25K.
If you believe that you might as well believe in the rapture. People will never stop believing in Armageddon because they have already been through it. The Rapture is just one of the faces self hate wears, the desire to see everything alive come to an end. Day by day, brick by brick, humanity creates what it fears. The rapture has psychic power because we all know we are destroying ourselves.

That's just a mass extinction though, not some supernatural rapture event. You can disbelieve all you want but statistically it will happen. Most species that have ever existed on this planet are currently extinct.
People are so fucking stupid. This guy has shown us that, at least.
That's how i feel. My dad and step mother have a LOT of money. they have said i am getting it all (my sisters are excluded in the will). I'm not counting on that money but it sure will be nice.
If you are in your parent's and grandparent's lives in a real and meaningful way, this kind of thing is not likely to happen.

It's also possible they didn't want to associate with her because she was the sort of crazy and stupid person who would do something like give all her money to a doomsday cult.sounds like the family wasn't even there for her anyway.
"This was not a woman who had anything. She literally had Family Radio on day and night -- she went to bed with it and woke up to it," said Heuwetter. "That was all she had."
uh, where the hell were you? now she's dead you want her money?
Even worse, Heuwetter said, his prediction never came to fruition. Heuwetter's family members were just as angry when they learned about Family Radio's failed prophecy, so they brought the case to several lawyers, who sympathized with the family, but agreed they had no case.
But they could have gotten soooo much more!
adopt me
hm... wait.. goes to Waggy's parents house and convinces them to adopt me.
next step: get myself to be the sole Benfidary of their will and cut Waggy out.![]()
why are both your sisters out of the will? (one of them a druggie/loser and you adopted her daughter?)
