I'm so sorry. No matter what anyone says, dogs are members of the family. Sometimes they are the only ones that seem to understand. If you come home after a bad day they're happy to see you. I've been gone at school for months then come home and my dog is so happy I'm back. As soon as I say his name he knows me and goes nuts. I don't know what I'd do if that little ball of fur died right now...
