There was a sign outside a local gas station that said "we can no longer axcept dirty cans" and the a was crossed out and replaced by an e, as if someone thought they were fixing the mistake. Come on, don't people have the 6th grade grammar level to know that it should be "accept?" Just ranting.

i've seen people put it as axesept . . . took me a while to realize what they were saying
 
Reminds me of when I used to work at MCDs and they let the Mexican workers put up the Marquee. Ugh, I had to redo it almost every week. 🙁
 
That recently? I've given up on the people that we hire. I see rampant illiteracy everyday (for people who do price changes), and deal constantly with people that can't pronounce "successfully" or even "user" (that was a funny call). And before you start flaming me, these people spoke english as a first language (even with a texan or north eastern accent).

Hell, I'd be willing to axcept 😉 even basic reading comprehension skills from our people.
