i lost faith in rottentomatoes

yeah, it's pretty suspect. Horror/Suspense movies RARELY get above 40% on the site...and they definitely lick the balls of any dramatic movie that comes out.

RT is crap because good entertainment can't be accurately measured by a checklist of what to look for.

You can have a guy pitch a perfect baseball game but it could still be a total snorefest.

Well duh, it's ON TV. Television cuts out all the good stuff. Go rent the damn movie, don't base your assessment of the film on a chopped up PC soccer mom television version.

Dodgeball was awesome. Mostly from Lance Armstrong, Chuck Norris, and Ben Stiller.

oh c'mon, the hoff... and milton... this movie was awesome, haha. and it's always fun to see christine taylor, brings back the good ol' Hey Dude days =)

Dodgeball was fucking awesome. IIRC, most of the stuff worth seeing in there couldn't be shown on television.

Ah yes, "YOU HAVE ALL BROUGHT SHAME ON YOUR HOUSES!!!"

Milton was awesome...

Yeah, Dodgeball just plain kicked ass. So quotable. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!

Did they leave in the wrench-throwing scene? Wheelchair dude chucks wrenches at their nuts to encourage them to dodge

I dont care much for their system.
They give horrible scores to movies like Showgirls and Ecks Vs. Sever but there are actually much worse flicks.

I dunno. Suspense movies sometimes do get higher than a 60%, or even 70%, and those ones tend to be golden for the genre.

1408 currently has a 78%. That movie is amazing.

They gave There Will Be Blood 91%

So I figured it would be really good.

EPIC FAIL

Huge waste of time except the end.. because it was over.

"You can buy one hell of a blumpkin for that!"

Rotten Tomatoes is completely bassackwards in my book.

Every movie I LOVE scores less than 10% on that site and every movie that, to me, is sh!t scores over 80%!

What? 1408 was terrible. It rehashes every horror convention from the last 20 years and then throws in a little bit of Jumanji. How could anyone find this scary?
