I've never played online poker myself, but a friend told me it's really easy to make money off the low limit tables because most of the people there barely know how to play. The higher limit tables are different though...

Yeah, the really high limit people know how to play. I stick in the $1 or under blinds tables, but there are quite a few sharks swimming around as well.....

Here is my hand history for the last hour approx.

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 52 hands and saw flop:
- 7 out 8 times while in big blind (87%)
- 3 out 8 times while in small blind (37%)
- 7 out 36 times in other positions (19%)
- a total of 17 out of 52 (32%)
Pots won at showdown - 5 of 5 (100%)
Pots won without showdown - 4

What it breaks down to is me winning every hand Ive made it to showdown, and 4 additional ones. Puts me at about $20 up just from those 52 hands.

If I ever lose it all I will stop, but Im thinking I will be ahead of people who dont play at all (hopefully)

I just stick to .02/.04 and .05/.10 limit. There was a promotion at Poker Paradise where you got $2.00 free just for signing up. No initial buy-in required, just your information (no CC #). I did that about two weeks ago and I'm up to $16.00 now. I know, I know, big money. Now I can buy that lunch I've always wanted.

I have been playing at that place myself using fake money and I have been noticing that the community cards are almost always really good, like flushes, straights, 3 of a kind being dealt in the community quite regularly. I have been wondering if their randomness is truly random or if it is a bit skewed to keep betting high at their money tables.

good question. I've wondered that myself, but based on playing over 2k hands I can say there is a lot of crap coming out too.

My real question is, do they give 2 players very good hands at the same time so someone loses a lot of money. IE bigger RAKES because of bigger pots.... I've been screwed bad several times (had Ace high flushes lose to late formed full houses, etc)

At regular casinos, 4Q's beaten would've been means for the bad beat Jackpot. Like 10K-100K jackpot. Too bad it was online only.

If you play at pstars, try the 1-2 table sit n go's. They're great because you won't lose much and not impossible to win. Playing at real money tables can be very costly at times.

Also, try the $1 or $3 tourneys. They're pretty fun.

I guess this is all speculation because they would of course never release the source for their software. However, it might be interesting to pull a table with friends and log every hand for statistics. That is more along the lines of a major investigation and I don't have the time or interest to do it. I'll stick with conspiracy theories. ;)
