so i ordered my canon xti on thursday monring, with cheap, standard shipping.
it arrived friday afternoon! i am impressed!!!
 
I can get a package from Vancouver in 4 hours, depending on the time of day and what it is...? Does newegg take a long time to ship things :S

exactly the opposite and why i stopped shopping at newegg.
 
I live within 5 hours of one also. A couple of weeks ago I ordered some ram and a video card on a thursday morning and received delivery on friday afternoon using their slowest, cheapest ups option. Most items I order come from their other warehouses though.
 
Not so much newegg as a similar situation. I live about 1 hour from most online distributors in Canada. Most of my FS/BB orders come next day or two after processing. However, amazon likes sticking it to m for using free shipping; they manage to take a week to deliver instock items from their warehouse that's about an hours drive away. Same goes for Dell...
 
Lets see the egg has warehouses in CA, TN and NJ. Lately when I order something it comes from all over the place. Used to I could get an order from the NJ or TN warehouse in two days. Now it takes several days even with 3 day guaranteed shipping.
