I live in Southern CA, and had a question about romantic restaurants in my area?

I was wondering what restaurants people would recommend for a romantic dinner here in Southern CA, mostly in Orange County and the Inland Empire. thanks for the help

Las Bresis (sp?) in Laguna Beach. Right on the water. Great view of the Ocean. Very nice atmosphere, although I have to say that the food was just OK. (Mexican sea food). I would give it a second try.

What kinda food is rusty pelican? thanks for the info. is Las Bresis only mexican sea food? my wife doesnt like sea food.

o sorry joblessone, its seafood...well, i'll get back to u on another restaurant that is situated on a hill in orange (don't know restaurant off hand, but gonna email my sis bout it later 2nite)...word is, that place is a really romantic restaurant cuz it oversees the city of Orange (i haven't been there myself, jus my sis told me bout it)

Depends what you want to eat......Your jobless so I'd say the Quality Inn!!! Free, fun and no tip needed. Floss MAY be necessary...

thanks static911, the place on the hill is called Orange Hill. most likely i will go there. But im still checking out other places.

how bout the usual cheesecake factory? i guess it may be considered romantic, but its kinda upbeat and LONG LINES!

JobLessOne Las Bresis does have an extensive menu so I think that you can get something without seafood. Another nice place is The Cottage. It's right across the street from Las Bresis. It looks like an old Victorian style home that was converted to a small restarunt. It's nice. Has that "homie" feel (no, not Snoop-Doggie homie 😉 ) There is an outdoor patio to eat on so if the weather is nice you can do that.

Rusty Pelican is the one right off Pacific Coast Highway right? If its the one I'm thinking about, it's REALLY nice.

Static you're in TX, how the heck have your heard of that place ? 😛

If you are what your handle says, why don't you just take her on a romantic candle lit pinic at the park, or the beach? Its more romantic than any resturant you take her 🙂

il cielo (italian), matsuhisa (japanese), chinois (french), valentino's (italian), the cellar (french), there's A LOT...

just go to Zagat, it all depends on how much you're willing to spend...

I second the Las Brisas idea, however, if you don't mind driving, Moonshadows in Malibu is by far the most romantic restaurant in SoCal imo.

Good luck, whatever you do.

Black Sheep Bistro
303 El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92680
Telephone: (714) 544-6060, Fax: (714) 544-0210

Its fancy food, not exactly the most romantic area but its worth a try

yea, out of the ones i named, Il Cielo is definitely considered the most romantic restaurant by far (in all of california if not just the LA area), perfect setting under the stars, but be ready to bust out the plastic if you're going there tho 😛

orange hill is good

or the White House in anaheim. VERY pricey.

good luck!

zagat is a good place to find places too
