I rode through Carlsbad yesterday on my motorcycle. Where do they live? I know that area well. I used to work at GIA up on the hill overlooking the flower fields (which are in bloom right now and incredible).

Good question, I haven't been out to their new place enough times to really remember exactly where it is. The house itself is at the top of a hill in the middle of a neighborhood, and you can see the ocean from the windows. The sunset view is pretty remarkable.

Also, I know it's a bit SE from the Hilton Garden Inn that's right on the beach, because I remember being able to see it from the back porch. Before they got the house, we used to stay there when we went out for vacation.

After I take the bar exam this summer, I'm heading out there. Hopefully for two weeks, but realistically just one.

I would not mind to be in cali today. I'm getting sick of all these blizzards. We had a teaser of spring when snow melted to the point that we could see pavement, but it's like it never happened.

When your dreams include someday seeing pavement, your life might suck.

Just the weather sucks, but we get used to it. The snow has finally slowed down. only about 2 inches today so far. Aparantly it's supose to be nice on the weekend.

I figure, it beats hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanos and all the stuff that destroys every house and building within the cities around.
