lol...I saw you responded in the thread and braced myself for flaming. oh well, guess I'll have to wait for maul to log on. :D

Yeah, he gives me non-stop ****** about that.

But since I have *one* of her new songs on the pod, I figured I couldn't give you ******. As I told AGS, I'm a pop music whore. :D

Your music collection used to be something to envy. But now I grab your iPod, looking for solace in new music, and I get ear-raped by a shuffle selection of Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Madonna and Nelly Furtado... Maybe you'll regain your masculinity once again if you learn to start blowing ****** car speakers with Orgy tunes again instead of bouncing merrily to Fergie's latest.

As for Dain...

Musically, you lost it a long time ago -- probably the day you tried to get me to go along with you on the idea that SRV or Whitesnake actually didn't suck. The only thing that may get you a raised eyebrow from me is you doing a bluegrass version of "Oops I Did It Again" karaoke in a catholic schoolgirl costume...but even that might not be too surprising.

:D

Two things.

1) My music collection has done nothing but grow. Its not like Orgy is gone its still frikken there. Beasties are still there, Oakenfold is still there. Yeh, got some BEP and others. Its got a beat you know?

2) that a was a righteous pwning. But I'll still kick your ass tomorrow.

Fergie is a nasty, aging, talentless whore with no shame. That said, I'd still probably hit it, just because I'm a nasty, talentless, shameless whore, too. :( *shrug*

I REALLY like the echos in the background of that song. I heard it on the radio for the first time a month ago and was OoOOOOOooOOo

It just goes to show you what puppets most of these singers are and what a great producer can do.

Her voice sucks.....it's whiny and nasaly.......you just resample it, fade it out a little, then bring in lots of chorus on the hook and, tada, top 40 hit. Reminds me of William Orbit's magic on the Madonna Ray Of Light album. Madonna has never even pretended to have a voice or lyrical talent, but I'll listen to that damn album all day and night.

When an artist writes and performs their own music you don't get this radical variance in the quality of their songs.

Which is exactly what she used to be...

I had thoughts similar to yours when I saw, "Say it Right" in a bar; She's just a pretty face now. You could take any number of female pop singers, throw their voice into a synthesizer, lay a beat and a chorus behind it, and you wouldn't be able to tell it apart from the new Nelly Furtado.

A few years back, if you'd heard, "Shit on the Radio" or "Hey, Man," you'd think there's no one else it could be besides Nelly Furtado...

True muscians and groups like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dr. Dre, Chris Isaak, and INXS have more talent individually than all of the sh!t that you listen to combined.

Let's take a look...

Eazy E? Get with it, Dre put him in his place as a whiny ass little bitch. Not to mention that at least Dre is competent enough not to stick dirty needles in his arm.

Sh!tty Euro-Dancecrap? No thanks. I have better things to be doing than listening to girls of the approximate age of nine-year sing obnoxious, banal lyrics over and over. Nor do I have the desire to dance in the style of an epileptic inmate slipping and sliding on the puke and piss in his jail cell.

Rammstein and KMFDM are pretty much the only manly things that you allowed me to expose you too. Thank God for that, because otherwise I would have been forced to smash your face in with a concrete block long before now.
