Ugh. STYE was a terrible album, overall. "F(r)iend" and "My Sweet Shadow" were great songs, IMO, but that's it. Reroute to Remain wasn't as bad...but still not great.

Come Clarity, however, is considerably better than either of those albums. A Sense of Purpose is also pretty good, I think.

However, their earlier stuff puts their new stuff to shame. You just have to appreciate their new stuff for what it is...it's still good, and it is unique.

I love almost everything In Flames past their debut album. It's all so good, and each album has it's own different sound. Whether it's a good or bad change is up to you, but I've loved them all.

I stopped listening to In Flames after Clay Man I think. I havn't really heard much of their new stuff.
