So, I just went from 2gb of DDR to 8gb of ddr, and from a 160mb hd to a 1TB hd. And I have to say, I'm loving the speed increase. Things feel so much snappier now that paging has become a very rare occurrence. It's great!

Congrats on the upgrade. I'm in about the same position as you. 160GB HDD but with 4GB of RAM. This old drive just crawls trying to load things. The difference has got to be huge.
