The greatest donuts, that I have ever had are krispy kreme.

I like their boston filled, jelly and specialty ones (like lemon, banana pudding, etc.), but I find their Kreme filled ones utterly disgusting.

Nonetheless OP, yes, jelly filled donuts are indeed preferred.

When I worked at the hospital we'd order a dozen of donuts quite often since there is a Tim Horton's in the basement. Sooo bad for me but sooo good. I find I don't see donuts as a novelty as much anymore though because I ate so many of them. On fridays the local bakery has "honey" dip donuts (not real honey hence the quotes) and they are freaking awesome. Especially when the boss picks them up on his way in and they're still warm. Mmmmmmmm.

Wow did not realize it had gone up that much. I tend to buy them along with coffee runs so never really consider the price of just the donuts. are they higher individually now as well? I know they used to be just under a dollar. Been a while since I bought some. And I swear they must be smaller or maybe they just seemed bigger when I was a kid...

Typically I find the grocery store ones are better though, but Timmy's is a convenience thing, if you're doing a coffee run you pickup donuts at same time.
