There is no evidence of that. All that was said was that 3 passengers had confrontations with the hijackers. For all that we know, the hijackers may of stabbed them as well. And if the hijackers were "took out" before the aircraft went down, what is the glory of that? They would of died on impact anyway.

First of all, they DID take them out.
"A senior U.S. intelligence official told MSNBC.com that mobile phone communications from Flight 93 indicate that three passengers overpowered the hijackers but were unable to maintain control of the plane. "

And second, by taking them out, it didn't allow them to complete their mission of killing American people so they're going to hell!

You discust me man, how can you say that? I would like to see you risk your life next time that you are in a plane that has been overtaken by terrorists. How do we know that they knew that the plane was going to crash after they overtook the terrorists. Anyway, this may be a moot point, the plane might have been shot down.

You're an idiot if you lack the ability to see that they could have saved lives (again, to make it clear because i think you lack the ability to infer this: they could have stopped the plane from crashing into a well populated area) if they were successful.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say - my appologies for my lack of clarity in what I was trying to convey. I am most proud of their efforts to overthrow the hijackers, but I don't think thoughts of glory were on their minds as a result of their endevour. I would most definately have done the same thing, although my reflections afterwards would turn to sorrow and desperation. Very sad.

no one said the passengers had thoughts of glory on their minds. what does glory have to do with anything? they were trying to survive to see another day, as well as their loved ones. i have no idea what u r trying to say in either of your posts. please think long and hard about any further replies you wish to post.
