I couldnt decide which forum was the best to ask this so i just chose OT cuz i figure theres people from all the forums in here. Anyways, im going to get a video card with Video out(to a TV or VCR, whatever) and what i want to do is, since almost every room in the house we are getting has a cable TV Jack, is to have the video-out converted to coax cable, then hooked up with the cable, thus allowing any TV in the house hooked up to the cable jack get whatever is on my screen.

My dad did something like this a while back, he had a VCR in one room and whatever movie was in it he could watch it on any TV in the house, this came in handy a lot. Im not sure if the VCR played to a certain channel, and if so, can a Video Out on a computer do the same thing?

(we have a big 7 bedroon house near a college and plan to have a lot of bashes and since up until now we just played mp3s at parties, we figure this year we can show some of our cool visual plugins on the TV's to go along with the music (my comp will be way up in the third floor suite) another cool idea is to let someone in the living room sitback and watch me slaughter my housemates in UT)

any help, ideas, links to diagrams or how tos on this would be great, thanks in advance guys...

I think x10 sells a 2.4 GHz video transmitter. You buy a base unit and as many remote units (for the TVs) as you need.

Also, my dad used to have a wired thing like that called "The Rabbit," or something to that effect.

Yeah I agree with bigbootydaddy (hehe, LOL) cracks me up! BTW: why would you want to do this? HAve 7 wankers in different rooms looking at the same porn you are?!! j/k

But seriously, its gonna be a pain to run all that wire.

You're going to have to get at least one signal amplifier - probably one that is powered (don't buy one of those crappy unpowered ones). Your video card won't be able to push a decent signal down all that wire without one.
