Hey guys,

Im building a rig for a good friend of mine and I was tempted to SLI up some 8800's. At least I'd like the SLI option available.

I might do 400FSB on the board (if possible but not necessary) so there will be some slight overclocking.

I want to use the full potential for the SLI capabilitys and not be crippled with like a 16x/4x. Is the magic board the 680i?

ever hope to get tri sli?

then your gonna need a 780 or a 790.

If just 2 cards sli is okey, the 750 FTW is my first pick.

And its seriously called the 750 FTW.

Just a note, nvidia is really bad investment right now. Intel will not give QPI to nvidia, meaning, your friend sli ends at his board.

Neha or next gen for intel WILL NOT SUPPORT SLI as far as i know. Unless Nvidia does some major butt kissing.

I was going to do the same thing with 2 8800GTs, but after seeing the benchmarks of the new ATI CF card i changed my mind.
