No thanks, I don't swing that way. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

You should probably get your rocks off more often. Be nice to people, asshole. :p

so you're one of those stupid ebayers i hate so much.. people like you make it a horrible place to trade.. imagine if this happened to you 2 out of every 5 auctions... you have no right to NOT buy the item as long as he contacts you within a reasonable amount of time (3 business days). if you don't want the item, then you submit to HIS terms, not the other way around. do not make excuses for your behavior and fix this asap. or just stop bidding....

you should buy the item.. how long did it take for him to contact you? I sell on ebay and when an auction ends i do NOT contact the winning bidder, ebay takes care of that for you, i just wait for them to complete their checkout and tranfer the money through paypal. I send ship their product and ONLY e-mail them to give them their DC#... only other reason i will e-mail is if they e-mail me with questions or asking for updates.
Though most ebay sellers say this, not all do.... BUT i always assume it anyway, that all auctions are good for 7 days, and you have 7 days to transfer payment for your bid. Most ebay sellers contact 3-4 days after auction ends if payment has not been recieved, not just 1-2.
I know it sucks but you should pay for the item, and next time pretend you are broke before you bid LOL.

uh... if you bid and win you have to buy, and this seller is being nice and letting you off the hook when in fact legally you have to buy it now

so pay the man his money! $7.43, $7, $8, $15... doesn't really matter as long as you pay quick.

As much as I hate to say this, eBay is degrading in my point of view. The listings are much restricted, thus making it much more difficult to get exotic items and it is quickly filling with hit and giggle players. You know, auction like "my sister for sale" sort of crap along with stupid brain dead bidders.

I had someone back out after doing "buy it now" on one of my auctions. He said he didn't read the description before clicking buy.

I let him pay me the auction fees and I left neutral feedback.

BTW, you could always resell it if you don't want it. After all there is someone willing to pay slightly less than what you paid for it.

I fully agree. If you bid on it and won, you just closed a binding contract to purchase an item. If you didn't want the item, don't bid! :|

It's boneheads like this that causes ebay to degrade more and more than the damage ebay does to themselves.
Pay for the item or pay the small fee the seller wants. Of course, $15 is much more than what he should charge, which is $7-8. But look on the bright side, you won't get a negative. Or maybe you just don't care, which is why you don't want the item now anyways.... :|

Let me guess, you have an AOL account?

Look, you are being very dishonorable. Either pay for the item you bid on or give him the $15 that he is being nice enough to offer.

He doesn't need to let you off the hook and $15 is certainly not an incredulous sum. Do it and do it quickly.

i hope the guy is reading here.

i also hope you lose your wallet/purse whatever and it is right after you cashed your paycheck.

please put your ebay name out so we know who to stay away from.

if you bid on something you SHOULD pay thats what honest people do anyway..and you just proved you are not an honest person.
