I know how to handle my meat

I was put in charge of grilling detail at work today for a cookout we had. I cooked 100 brats and 80 hotdogs...all from frozen. this was round one of about 3 that looked like this. Right side was for thawing. Middle was for final grilling char, left was the dog station.

Sadly I had to do this without a beer in hand

GFS. When you are buying bulk & precooked that's usually how they come from restaurant supplies.

Tell me about it. I started cooking at 10:30 for a lunch to start at 11:30. By 12:15 we were out of hotdogs and only had about 15 brats left. I couldn't get them cooked fast enough. Really need two grills...one to thaw/pre cook and a 2nd to sear.

i do. when you can buy them in bulk from teh local butcher. Far cheaper to buy in bulk and they taste just fine when thawed.

and usually i boil the brats (in water/beer and onions) before grilling anyway. also you can throw in the cooked brats back in the beer and keep them warm.
