I've been doing my Win 2000 home machines with a Fat 32 boot and NTFS program partitions, and occasionally a backup Fat32 for ghost images of C in case of Windows reloads. 😉
I might have considered a temporary hard drive switch to an old Fat hard drive myself. Plenty of those available!
