I *KNEW* I was being watched.... *HI RES PICS INSIDE*

There's actually 2 of them that have nests in the woods on my property. My favorite is some species of hawk (he is huge) I have been watching lately. It's cool watching him pick off the squirrles from under one of my deer feeders. I'll try to get some pics of that if possible.

Owls and other Birds of Prey just rock. Watching them swoop down on unsuspecting rodents and ripping them apart is quite satisfying, I'd imagine. 😀

I used to LOVE throwing a rat into my big Boa's cage; she'd quickly run inside her little cave...and wait...for an hour if necessary. Sooner or later Mister Rat would get curious as to what was inside the cave.....

Have you heard any hoots from it? They are also pretty noisy fliers from my encounters with them.

I have heard them screeching and hooting. The screeching sound will send chills down your spine if your out after dark and you don't know what it is. It's pretty loud.
