i keep reading everywhere that brown eyes are the most common... is it true?

personally i see more blue eyes than anything.. for some reason i notice these types of things right off the bat when i talk to someone... i rarely see true brown eyes anymore..

here's a pic of my eyes for reference, they are green/hazel i guess....

I'm never able to look at somebody in the face while talking to them.. I either only remember the person's boobs(if female) or I was zoned out imagining boobs in my head anyways. 😕

Umm did you ever go to school or anything? Brown eyes, dark hair are more common. It's called dominate genes.
 
my youngest daughter has crazy blue eyes, my oldest daughter inherited my eyes, they are maybe a little browner than mine though, but in light they are green/brown..

i dont remember, i guess i didn't notice it back then.... that whole thing about blue eyed people all sharing a common ancestor got me thinking a couple weeks ago...

i hate talking to people that don't make eye contact, i always make eye contact when im talking to someone...you can tell if they are lying that way... and also if your talking to a female you can tell when she swoons or if she's put off...
 
well considering that asians and blacks have brown eyes, it's no contest.

But even among whites, brown is dominant.

you know that's true, i can only think of one black person i know who has blue eyes, and it looks out of proportion somehow i guess you'd say..i dont know if hers are natural though, she could be wearing color contacts...

most blue eyed folks i know are light skinned, and light haired too... but it seems like that's all i see nowadays..

i hardly ever see green eyes either, i guess i got lucky on that one, im in the minority..
 
My eyes are some muddy mix between blue and green and grey. But yeah most people I know have brown eyes. I'm a fan of blue and green eyed ladies.

im super picky about the females and features... they have to be green eyed, the girl has to be super thin but still curvy, and dark haired... very very rare exceptions can be made... but it's almost always a deal breaker for me if they dont fit my qualifications...

maybe im shallow..

 
You have to remember, how many Asians are there on this planet? Dark hair and brown eyes are dominant in the Asian gene pool. Both my SO and I have brown eyes. Mine used to be so dark, they verged on black.

Almost my trinity...only brunette hair instead.

However, I married Hazel eyes and Auburn hair, go figure, can't say I'm complaining though.

Oh, and I have the brownest of brown eyes...almost black.

FYI just because a trait is dominant doesn't mean it's the most common 😛

But yes, everything I've seen has said Brown is both dominant and most common.
