I've had this dream many times over the last few years. It's actually more like a nightmare.

My teeth feel like they're growing and growing and my mouth can't possibly open any more to allow for more growth. At the same time I think I'm trying to clench my Jaw to keep the growing down. At this point I feel like they are getting brittle and all my teeth start to break and wiggle. I feel the pain of this happening as well, so it seems very realistic. Then I get scared and I don't know what to do.

I have not clue what the cause of it is or what it means. Anyone know? Thanx in advance.

As long as you dont have a dream that you are eating a big marshmallow and then wake up with no pillow.

I use to have this dream as a kid where I kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger eventually become so big the weight of the size of my body caused physical pain as it held me to the ground.

Also, not bigger in the sense as "whoaa Im superman" but more of a pressing weight onto my body from myself as it grew in size if that makes any sense...

There's an ass load of info on this subject if you google it. Persoanlly I've only had these dreams two or three times in my life and each time it was due to a large amount of stress in my life I believe.

I grind/clench my teeth in my sleep, to the point where my jaw hurts and I've even cracked a molar, if I'm stressed and let myself think of these issues as I drift off to sleep.

I have a bad habit of thinking out the days issues as I go to sleep and I've had to train myself to clear these thoughts. After that, and a new crown for my cracked molar, I've had no further issues.

Had a dream about my teeth were dissolving in my mouth, turning into a white sand turning into bigger and bigger chunks. very vivid.

About a week later i was eating a sandwich and a cavity filling busts out, little pieces of tooth and metal in my mouth. Had to get a crown.

This could mean that in your real life you have feelings of loss of control, helplessness or powerlessness.

I've had dreams where my teeth either grew very long, fell out, or grew in rows (think shark). I've also had a dream where my brain fell apart into little cubes and my mom and little brother were trying to piece it back together.

I'm not even joking, a few nights ago I had a dream about my teeth; one tooth was bent oddly and I eventually ended up biting it so hard that it broke and fell out of my mouth, it was nasty.

The topic title was interesting. My gut reaction was "teeth can't have dreams." But then I was like, wait, guts can't have reactions, and I fell into a paradox never to return. After crawling out, I remembered a recurring dream I occasionally still have. I'm looking at myself, and I start pulling away, as if I were a camera zooming out (except there's no distortion, so it's not actually a zoom, it's a dolly). I watch myself get smaller and smaller and disappear as I continue dollying back to reveal the country, then Earth, then the solar system, then the galaxy, etc., until I feel so utterly insignificant that it makes me question whether I even exist. Then I wake up. That's a dream that really fucks with your head, you know? You dream that every night, good luck getting to work the next day.

Sorry, but I don't put too much into the translation of the conciousness based on dreams. The easy things like stress and whatnot are fine, I can understand that dreams will be affected based on how your day went and whats hounding you the most. But because there's little proof and definition in "dream reading" it has as much legitimacy as fortune telling.

The most I'd say would be that this is just a spell. Lots of people have recurring dreams, and recurring nightmares, that will eventually fade.

A few months ago, I had a dream that the oral surgeon arbitrarily cut out three of my teeth and replaced them with fake ones. I was utterly heartbroken.

This is a bad habit? I can't help but turn thoughts over and over in my mind before eventually falling asleep.
