duh, i know it's a virus but in the last 2 hours i've gotten 50 every minutes or so from the same email address i've never seen before. what do i doooo?

oh, i just discovered that option. anyways, i accidentally blocked somebody i didn't want blocked. how do i unblock them??
i'm using outlook express.

Ive never used Outlook Express be4 but I think it might be in ur account properties? not sure...

First off, i figured it out but thanks anyways.

Secondly, i said i knew it was a virus, of course i'm not going to open it up!!

and 3rd, i'm pretty sure it wans't porn. (unless u were joking ) the file names are like EE110 Lab Part 5. or something boring like that.

That particular virus takes a file from the infected persons "My Documents" folder makes it a little bigger by adding parts of it to the document/spreadsheet...whatever and then sends it out to people in your addressbook.

I don't know the name of it nor what damage it occurs other than the nuisance of slowing down the net by sending alot of attachments. I normally reply to the sender that they are infected and to clean up their machine, then I block their email address. I got one that was called 'accounts'...if I were dishonest I could have cleaned it with Norton and then took a peek..

a friend of mine actually opened that because she had a lab project and thought one of her partners sent it.

hotmail caught it though.

I got one of these the other day and thought it sounded like a virus but there were not attached files. No wierd scripts either. Just a message. Guess my email provider must have filtered it out...
