The BSoDs continue, even if I reformat, I have tried everything to my knowledge, I have come up with no solutions. I'd really appreciate someone to help me. I built my rig on March 27th, 2006 btw. I can give any other information needed (like most recent HiJackThis Log).

Stop errors are generally hardware oriented. You say your second hdd is on the verge of failing. If it cannot be repaired using the manuf. utility or chkdsk /r then try removing it from your system and see if the errors persist. It can't hurt to post your HiJackThis Log.

The second drive has been having problems for a while now, and no utility i've tried has fixed the problems. I am currently trying to find space to get all my data off it so I can RMA the drive to seagate (I also gotta go into my PC to get the Part Number). Its a secondary Drive that just has all my media on it (Music, Pictures, Documents, Movies, etc), but it would make sense for the third BSoD error because uTorrent was constantly using the drive. Anyways, my HJT log:

yeah, um, I think it might be the secondary hard drive. Can they cause BSoDs? Because I was using a program, and when going through the directory, I went to a folder with 12GB worth of files, and it completely slowed and I got a Stop message. This time, it was 0x0000009c (MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION).

Stop errors are caused by Windows sensing a problem and throwing up a warning to alert you to the problem.

The first place to look for stop errors is software.

OP: Please send me the minidumps found in c:\windows\minidumps. Please run MPSReports and send me the resulting yourcomputername.cab file. Please see my .sig for full details and directions.

At first glance, it looks like you should update your nvidia display drivers to avoid problem #2 in your first post.

7/11/2006 5:30:10 PM 4 0 1001 Save Dump N/A NOAH The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0xe3c49e90, 0xe3c49ef0, 0x0c0c0824). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini071106-01.dmp.

You're getting BSODs, so you should have some dumpfiles in that directory. What do you see?

You've got significant D: and CDROM errors; if it were me I'd first just get rid of the add-in nVidia ATA controllers, since your system should work fine without them, but *you* need to check that first before doing anything. 🙂

Any ideas why you're getting this:
7/13/2006 4:02:46 PM 1 0 7026 Service Control Manager N/A NOAH The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: nvport
?

You ought to fix this. For now examine any CDRom drives these errors reference.

7/16/2006 4:45:48 AM 1 0 7 Cdrom N/A NOAH The device, \Device\CdRom1, has a bad block.

Look in your system event log and you can see all of this.

Woah, you're right about all those errors about my DVD Drive. The ones in the last few days were a really scratched disk that I tried to rip tho.

Isnt NVPort the Nvidia PureVideo Decoder?

Oh, and I have nothing in the Minidump Folder. There should be tho, cause I have used them before (well, before I formatted last, which was a few months ago). See, its empty:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v634/DJ_Psy/MiniDump.jpg

Heres the only Bluescreen in the event log besides the other one:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 7/3/2006
Time: 1:31:47 PM
User: N/A
Computer: NOAH
Description:
Error code 10000050, parameter1 e3711c2c, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bfa73602, parameter4 00000001.

I've had 7+ more Stop messages since my last format tho...

Latest one is due to the nv4_displ.dll driver - the nVidia card & driver, basically. That driver's from March 2006, so if you can update it, do so and let us know if anything changes.

You don't need "driver cleaner" or any other mumbo-jumbo -- just download the latest driver and install it.

Let us know...
