I keep dry heaving - will stomach medicine help?

I got some weird sort of stomach irritation from my gf. it's been with her for days.
I've thrown up 4 times and it's been nothing but stomach acid the last 2. The problem is, I need to get to sleep eventually and right now I have to get out of bed to throw up every hour.

Have you ever used any kind of medicine to calm your upset stomach? Did it work? What's it called?

Well, some quick Googling tells me two things.

1. There really isn't anything with a high success rate for those symptoms..

because

2. Unless there is something really wrong with you those symptoms usually go away on their own before you could go out, get the medicine, take the medicine, and wait for it to work.

*note* As of the last time I checked, Google was not a doctor. Take that advice with a grain of salt....if you can keep it down 😉

Keep hydrated and let it run it's course. You probably have some sort of stomach bug/flu. If it escalates, consider going to the hospital. It wouldn't hurt to be professionally evaluated.

Drink water, so instead of dry heaving, atleast there is something coming up and it dont hurt as much as dry heaving. Plus after dry heaving for a bit, there is a chance that yer stomach acids can work its way up and thats bad news bears.

Simple solution is to put a small garbage can next to your bed. Like the ones you have in your bathroom.

When that happened to me, I went to the med center and they gave me an anti-nausiant shot, did the trick. They'll also prescribe you the same medicine in suppository form if you want it for later, but at least at the med center they'll give it to you in a shot.
