I just watched the movie after reading the book, and I think the book was way better. The movie totally changed the story, and made the characters different. I had to stop watching the movie and come back to it a few times to get through it.

Yes. I remember one time when I went to see a movie they loaded the wrong tape, and I saw the first few minutes of one. A bunch of people left, I didn't. They started the real show after a few minutes.

Yeah, I agree, the movie was much worse than the book of the same, but different names. They kept large portions the same, but left out some of the points that would have made the movie much better. I guess that happens with all adaptations though, you know?
