you should probably say SPOILER first for thsoe who haven't seen it. . . not much of a spoiler though.

on a side note, how come everyone here is saying that the movie is good, when the movie was out, 100% of the population said that it sucked, i swear I was the only one that liked it.

Excellent movie, the g/f and I liked it but no one else we know does. It is kinda weird at times but overall it's an awesome movie.

no one liked it because it made people think.....if you liked this movie....i recommend Oldboy(korean)......its not like butterflyeffect but it has the same feel as in shocking...and good. In my opinion, hollywood has really declined in quality, but sometimes theres a movie like BE....

I actually liked the movie as well. I remember reading that Ashton thought he sucked in it. I dunno.

The one thing I wish I would remember is who did I watch this movie with?

Because the people that went to see it in theaters were expecting it to be low brow "comedy" and probably didn't get it.

Have it, still in the shrink wrap. I'll watch it when I have a couple SVS PB12-Ultra/2. I read the bass is crazy for this movie.

Yeah, now that you mention it I think it was. It's been a while since I watched it though.

I'll have to try it again soon.

update: didn't watch it again yet, but I was going through SVS's waterfall charts and they listed a couple for the movie.

i think that happened because the first wave of people didn't know what the movie was.. word spread and people began to see that it was indeed a drama type movie, and wanted to check it out. it is a thinking movie, and most theater-go'ers either want pure action, comedy, or horror. drama isn't a common theme. but i really enjoyed the movie, perhaps one of my favorite movies that isn't an action-drama/pure action.
