No, "Heavenly creatures" is disturbing.

Wrong, "Meet the Feebles" is distrubing. Heavenly Creatures is nothing.

Peter Jackson is a great man at doing that. I'm surprised the LOTR movies weren't somehow completely fvcked up and mentally scarring.

As for the OP, I watched the first 15 minutes of Requiem but got bored and turned it off. A movie has to be horrifically boring for me to do that. If I'm falling asleep after the first 15 minutes, then I don't feel like watching the rest.

Hrm.. wasn't that messed up. I dunno, maybe I dont get worked up about that stuff. I dont feel sorry for sorry people. Ass to ass!

To all the people who thought Requiem for a Dream was disturbing, I invite you to watch Mysterious Skin.

kinda reminded me of some guys i knew in high school, though they didnt get quite so hardcore. a couple of them were pretty much responsible for their high school hiring security: they were dealing acid and other things left and right

havent seen either of them in a couple of years at least

Train spotting is another good movie in this genre. Just don't see it on a first date like I did.

Kids is disturbing...more so than Requiem imop.

Thing about that movie is that it brings you down, but unlike other movies, it just leaves you there. No happy ending to this one.

But i will say the soundtrack to that movie (the winter/summer overture) is awesome.

Definitely... Soundtrack really helped the movie. Now they use it in every action movie/battle scene trailer. 😛

Jennifer Connelly was very hot in the movie too so that didn't hurt the enjoyment of the movie. First time I watched it, it bummed me out because I wasn't expecting it to be such a downer.

Trainspotting is more of a "fun" movie I thought, but I suppose it is about drugs...
